Currently i'm on VSED and i think i won't last for more than just 4 days without water, not eating food is easy but not drinking is very hard, so i had this idea on my mind, i can probably target some nerves using a needle in my body to lose blood then drink my own blood

Why i'm even contemplating this weird cannibalism?

Thirst is really getting me and if i'll eventually just start losing my willpower as my thirst becomes stronger, then why not drink my own blood? I'm probably harming my body even furthermore by doing this but at least that's a viable method for dealing with my thirst

Would this slow down or speed my death?

Also sorry if i sound insane for contemplating cannibalism as a solution to deal with thirst for VSED, thirst is really getting me and i know for sure i won't last for longer than 3 days until i'll collapse and start drinking water, i'm ready to go to any lengths to make sure i won't fuck up on my VSED regime, i'm giving this my all and i'm probably slowly losing the mental battle against thirst and hunger

The following is from an article I found online:
When you drink blood it goes directly into the stomach, then moves to the small intestine before hitting your bloodstream. Your body can't digest blood like it does food, according to Healthline, which is why it can irritate the stomach so badly.

Drinking blood can also risk a condition known as hemochromatosis, where the body has too much iron in it. While this is mostly caused by genetics or other underlying conditions, human blood does have copious amounts of iron, and someone who consumes too much of it could reach toxic levels in their body. This could lead to all kinds of problems, from kidney disease to blood problems to nervous disorders, according to Live Science.

Hey there!:)

Drinking blood is not considered cannibalism! The technical term for cannibalism involves ingesting human flesh or organs. Body fluids (blood, urine, sweat, whatever) is not cannibalism!

I don't know if this will help you in any way. I don't know the "benefits" of drinking blood. However, as someone who has drank a lot of blood (it's always my own & for kink reasons), I don't think it's like harmful. I have been told there can be some kidney issues if you get too much iron. But like… you'd have to drink a lot. I feel like you'd pass out from blood loss before this would happen. I do not know that for a fact tho. 100% research.

Also probably do not target a nerve with the needle to obtain blood. Needles are also something I have a lotttttt of knowledge with. They're not the best option to draw (a lot) of blood. But if you chose this method, don't just shove it straight into a nerve. Think horizontally. There are places on the body that should be avoided. You also need to ensure the depth- deep enough to draw blood but not deep enough to hit muscle.

Any reason in particular you are trying to get blood from nerves instead of veins?

Thirst is a mechanism by which the body tries to get you to ingest extra water because it does not have enough. If you are removing blood from yourself and drinking it, you are not going to be less thirsty. You are not adding extra water to your body, merely recycling the water that is already there. So if anything, removing blood when you're already in a starved, dehydrated, and weakened state is just going to make you feel worse.

Failed, thirst and hunger got the better of me, i didn't drink my blood because the thing was just very awkward and i don't think how i would hide traces of major blood loss when i start targetting major blood vessels, my family would notice

I did my research and realised i should target major blood vessels, i just wanted to stop the feeling of thirst, i failed at VSED anyways

I take it this is your only option? I've considered VSED, but never really really tried doing it. I'm sorry you've had to resort to this
