• Hey Guest,

We wanted to share a quick update with the community.

Our public expense ledger is now live, allowing anyone to see how donations are used to support the ongoing operation of the site.

Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

Also, where do people find beams high enough to do a long drop other than tree branches? The ceiling in both my basement and garage are too low and there's no wooded areas anywhere near me. There is a single tall spruce on the front lawn with no low growth that would be perfect if it weren't so out in the open for my neighbours to see. I don't want to hang myself outside and traumatize a random person. I'd rather have my family find me. Can an anterior knot really increase chances of cervical fracture? And what about adding weights to oneself to lower the threshold (drop length) for cervical fracture? I bought 3/8" (or ~1cm) thick heavy duty rope to do the job. I'm aware the thinner you go the better as long as it's still strong enough to hold you up but this is the best I could do.

I'm not sure but would landing on your head also help to make yourself go faster?

FSH discussed here is typically short drop. It can be done without an extreme setup.
