I chose drowning for a couple of reasons. I wanted something that is reliable and will guarantee death with the least amount of blood. Shotgun was a no because everyone I know who has used this method is at least alive for days and we have enough information to know that this isn't always fatal. I guess a shot to the heart might work. But, I have heard that can take hours until your dead (someone in my town did this). I didn't choose SN because it is difficult to acquire and I almost OD off pills, which I feel has the same effect on the body. It was an unpleasant and scary experience. SI kicked in like I wouldn't believe. Not all benzos work the same on my body and there were too many meds involved in this method. Drowning is going to be painful. I wasn't trying to get rid of the pain as this is no guarantee. BUT, you stay under the water long enough with no one to help and you're dead lol I plan to take Ambien since I know that body reacts well to this and then drown. Drowning, or at least passing out from it takes no more than 5 minutes, which is nicer than laying in a hospital bed waiting to die for hours from hanging or a shotgun. It just seems the most reliable with little chance of surviving. Again, not worried about the pain. Dying is painful I would assume.
