I don't understand how it all started. Like why? Why there is something rather than nothing. This is a nightmare.

Yeah. It definitely is. And we don't know how it started. We can only speculate but the most accurate scientific explanation seems to be that everything happened just randomly and because many random things happened, that's why we're here now. I don't believe in a god or a supernatural entity. The worst thing about all of this is, once you're born, you have a really hard to exiting this life, since we all suffer from a very strong survival-instinct. It's really hard leaving all of this behind, considering this could be our only life. I wish I was never born because in that case, I wouldn't even know that I missed something.

That is true but who knows what else we are missing out on. Just as an ant has no idea about the reality on the scale as we know it. The true nature of the reality could be something completely unfathomable to us.

True. Who knows. From my perspective, all of this seems rather pointless though.

we will never understand

there is something to make you think about something and question why there has to be something rather than nothing, without feelings this seems easier to understand, but without feelings something would mean nothing, so the problem is that there is a problem. thinking wont change anything about that fact...after wandering around the earth for milleniums no one would get an understanding of life or consciousness, we would just be tired of it

i hope this is not a videogame where a 7 year old is trashing around with my character or some self-called programing god simulation

I've always wondered the same thing. I also wonder how many realities there are. And if this is a virtual simulation... This might even be a reality inside a reality inside a reality. That makes me wonder how easy creating a reality is, and how is a reality erased... Just thinking about all the possibilities makes me excited. It's really fascinating. I hope we'll find out after the bus ride.

I wish I could write a book about this topic.

But on the other hand, I'm sure this reality here is almost the worst possible reality.

Well there is definitely a possibility that this could be a simulation but a very cruel one.

Now is 2019 year only and already there are computers and virtual reality - we are not able to realistically imagine what can be invented through millions of years of technical progress. I have always liked the idea that there is a possibility that some very developed civilization in the past has evolved so much over millions of years of technical progress to create virtual simulations, digital reality and the real AI and that we live in one of this simulations or as part of some very sophisticated AI - it would explain a lot.

Team Linked to Elon Musk Edges Closer to Brain Computers - https://www.bloomberg.com/news/arti...n-musk-neuralink-outline-brain-monitor-system

Musk defined the neuro lace as a "digital layer above the cortex" that would not necessarily imply extensive surgical insertion but ideally an implant through a vein or artery. Musk explained that the long-term goal is to achieve "symbiosis with artificial intelligence".

This Neuralink it is a technology for the purpose of symbiosis of human consciousness and AI.

Seems it's really possible. What if we already in some kind of "symbiosis with artificial intelligence"?

Agreed. I don't understand why this reality needs to be so cruel. I especially hate how society says that there's only one "correct" way to live for humans. Go to school, go to university, get a job, work at least 8 hours a day at least 5 days a week, try to find a spouse, marry, have kids, take care of the kids for at least 18 years, work more.

If a person is only able to (because of mental health reasons) or otherwise only wants to work 6 hours a day, or 4 days a week, that's not okay in society's eyes. And may the High Heavens have mercy on you if you say that you don't want kids. Every so often I hear and read how people who don't want to have kids are worse than trash. "Do you want Finns to go extinct?!" they cry while there are currently more Finns than ever in the history.

The mere thought of having to dedicate for wageslavery 8 hours + 1 hour of driving to and from work, five days a week, for decades, is pure suicide fuel.

It's either suicide or "Go to work, get married, have some kids, pay your taxes, pay your bills, watch your tv, follow fashion, act normal, obey the law, and repeat after me: I am free."

Have you noticed that while we live in different countries the system is the same all over the world? I feel not free and without rights of any slave and animal, freedom does not exist at all like you can see by yourself: we are all just wage slaves from birth till death. For them we are just a resource like gasoline or coal - they even openly use the concept of "human resources". And the real reason for which euthanasia is prohibited and for attempting suicide is forcibly sent to a psychiatric hospitals because there is nothing to extort from the dead, no profit, no more wageslavery if we are dead.

I always asked myself why can't it be straightforward, if we are here for a purpose why can't we just be instructed clearly what that is. Of course that's the problem there is no purpose we're still just monkeys throwing shit. Maybe life would be better without any free will at all.

Yet society wanders why some of us our either NEET's, obsessed with escapism such as video games and anime or both.

Complains about us not living a more produce or social life with them yet they do whatever they can to take away your self individuality. It isn't enough that you work or contribute, they always want more from you.

They want you to act a certain way! Life live a certain way! Be a social in a certain way and more and more and more until you fit in perfectly in the robot crowd.

And they expect to kill yourself with work and call you selfish if you decide to end it all.

The ancient slaves could be said to be in a better position than many of the modern "free" people living in the so-called democracy: usually the slave was given the necessary place (home or room) to live for free (he did not have to pay rent or some kind of loans all his life just to not become homeless - he could not become homeless even if he want), every day he was provided with the necessary minimum of food and water (for free), a minimum of clothes, he didn't have to be humiliated trying to find a job, he didn't have to go to school and a college where any degenerates would bullying him, he was not obliged to pay taxes. Of course, he had to work hard all his life, have no rights and he could easily die from something bad - but doesn't almost everyone have to work the same way now? Do we have many rights if we do not even have the right to manage our own lives, if they say that our own life does not belong to us?

The world is not the problem, humanity is the source of chaos and calamity. Not all humanity is shit, in fact I would say people like you, neets, gamers, nerds, me, etc have figured it out and have decided to opt out of this farce. I remember when I was 6 years old, talking with my twin about people being crystallized images, nothing but puppets. Essentially npcs with no intelligence but to follow the herd, not capable of thinking outside the box nor critically. We are a anomaly to this reality, and a minority. There is no hope for change, the retards will keep doing what they have always been doing.

You have many of them. Daniel123 probably doesn't know much about these but IDK for sure. I would add that you research consciousness through stuff like astral projection, near death experiences, meditation, psychedelics, enlightenment, reincarnation, nnDMT, 5-meo-dmt and only then will would have scratched the surface of what this reality is. We all reincarnate here over and over in the hopes that eventually through our kids kids kids kids etc we will eventually find peace love and even do I dare say God.

You have no idea how many videos I have seen and articles I've read on this topic but none off them completely explain the idea how it all started. All of them are just speculations. The thing I want to know is what was the beginning of it all. Even if this universe is part of something much bigger and that there are many universes, where that did come from? Was it always there? I guess we will never find out.

I also wonder. Why is there something rather than nothing? I didn't find any answers neither, although I searched. Other than that, I don't think the simulation theory holds much ground, I think our planet and life on it simply happened as an accident, the evolution theory makes perfect sense. Nature shuffles its cards, what sticks to it sticks and that's that. If we were in a simulation, the creators would have to be incredibly wicked, and the problem of who created them and how did it all start would still remain.

There are hypotheses that suggest (based on some facts) that everything that exists in the universe has a digital nature, consists of information. That information is the most basic level going to elementary particles. And even perhaps information is part of some incredibly developed AI. That hypotheses assume that everything that exists has only a technical nature and nobody has created it - it creates itself as a computer program. Evolution is one of the programs. And human consciousness is a set of 0 and 1 (a unique set for each human) and it can easily be saved and loaded again in other bodies (like reincarnation) as any other data. Memory and information is a very valuable resource and is stored somewhere (such as social networks accumulate and collect data about users).

Funny I just welcomed back myself to shitty reality from a nap. Yes, I literally said that to myself. The worst thing about reality is it is so damn rigid, with zero hope of changing (for better). Reality feels like hell? Too bad.
