Those masks have kinda safety holes that allow air in just in case patient runs out of oxygen. So the mask is not 100% air tight.

That is certainly important to know, thank you.

The only change I've made is that I'm now recommending a different regulator, one that includes a hose barb:

If the person spends the required amount of time reading/researching/asking questions/fully understanding the method; if the proper materials are acquired; if they are connected and used correctly; and if the final exit bag protocols are followed meticulously, then the Exit Bag & Inert Gas method is 100% safe, painless and reliable.
