• Hey Guest,

We wanted to share a quick update with the community.

Our public expense ledger is now live, allowing anyone to see how donations are used to support the ongoing operation of the site.

Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

What's the context? Some things are factually correct I suppose. If an ice lolly is melting in the sun, it will likely last longer in the shade. But generally, a solution is an adequate fix of a problem.

If you're refering to a solution for a 'broken' life- that's more subjective I suppose. Is the life 'broken' to begin with? That's up to the person to decide- surely? If they try a whole bunch of things and don't feel better- that also seems like a fair perspective too.

I suppose it's possible some 'problems' or questions, we may never have an answer or solution to. Is there a God?

Users can start a 'Question' thread where others can post replies and upvote replies. If one of the replies answers OP's question then he can mark that reply as the 'Solution.' But I've never posted a 'Question' thread so maybe I'm wrong.

There are very few members with a solution on their profile because question threads are rare, and marking one of the replies as the solution even rarer.

If you're talking from a chemistry perspective... A "solution" is something that results from two or more substances combining to form a combined new thing.

The simplest example is salt and water. Take a spoon of salt and stir it into a glass of water. The salt is soluble in water, thus it will go into solution with the water. This essentially means the salt and water bond in a particular way so that they tend to stay together. IF, however, you spooned in some dirt and stirred that around in the water, you'd see the dirt settle out on the bottom of the glass because it does not become part of a solution with the water.
