Method SN Solution Colour

Hello sasu. I had a package of opened SN for a while now, I had recently chose to dissolve. I am ever so slightly concerned, as I dissolved 3 teaspoons worth and the solution is slightly yellowish in colour. Is this a sign of impurities or that it may have oxidised to nitrate? Unfortunately the urgency does not allow me to perform a test better than a blood test.

sn on the wikipedia page has a slight yellowness to it too:

I know the crystals are allowed a certain degree of yellow, unfortunately first time I did it I just kept eating it and never checked whether it was meant to be more transparent. Maybe I'm making myself paranoid for no reason.

I think I saw someone's photo in a white cup with flash once, and the solution was straight-up yellow, so I assume that a yellowish color is normal for the solution

Where do you store the SN, in a airtight container? If so it shouldn't turn to nitrate. I don't recommend only testing SN with blood as it's risky. It's better if you can get test strip since this is a very important matter
