I seen a popular idea online that if you drink salt water it will kill you. Is this true? And if so then what type of salt does it have to be?

you need huge, and I mean HUGE amounts of salt to die. and it's not even guarenteed, and you have a bigger chance of destroying your internal organs and suffer pain everyday for the rest of your life

Ik this trend on tik tok, but it's not true, taking salt may affect your heart rate slightly but won't do much.

It does not kill you right away. You also need to keep drinking it. It is the ship wreck conundrum when you run out of fresh water.Similar threads
