What does losing consciousness feel like?

I'm having a bit of anxiety of what exactly I will feel when I pass out from taking SN. Will time move quickly? Will I be put into a dream? What is this going to feel like? Will it feel like I'm trapped in my body? What have been your experiences? I'm worried that I'll feel paralyzed inside my body while the brain slowly dies.

It's like falling asleep, but without ever waking up to realize you've fallen asleep. It probably happens without you knowing it.

It's exactly like falling asleep. Just like @High on Disco said, you don't even feel it happening.

Probably being "conscious" is processing memories passively and actively stimulation from senses. To stop processing stimulation and not processing memories are probably how it is to be dead.

In my experience it's been like sleep but without dreams. I don't remember feeling anything, can't even remember much that led up to the point of unconsciousness in some cases.

Yeah I remember times I had surgery and how it feels.

For me I've overdosed Hella times =didn't even realize I went unconscious. The most that I remember is maybe feeling a bit sleepy before hand. I've gone under anesthesia also and I just remember feeling a bit sleepy then waking up

When I went under anesthesia just before I passed out, everything started to turn a bright yellow, like a bright light, and flooded my field of vision. I hope that happens when I pass out from SN.

I have had sudden loss of consciousness(fainted) in the past due to low blood pressure. This occurred more than once and usually would not remember those few moments or seconds before losing consciousness. There was no feeling. No light or darkness.

I have also lost consciousness from my recent attempt with SN. Long story short, I called for help before I lost consciousness and the transition happened so quickly. One moment I was sitting on the doorway steps, crying and waiting for help. The next, i was on a hospital bed. I think one becomes unaware while slipping out of consciousness. But no two people experience the same so others might suggest otherwise.

I lost consciousness when I had a surgery. I remember lying on the table and then...boom, I woke up at the recovery room. I didn't feel anything, you won't even know when it's happening.

To me, losing consciousness (with anesthesia) was just a more abrupt version of falling asleep - I really couldn't even recall when it started happening. Waking up from anesthesia, I do remember having had some extremely vivid dreams just before regaining consciousness, but my memory of these dreams disappeared pretty much 5 minutes after I awoke. I just remember colours now - whites and beiges (oh, and snowflake-like patterns) - but that's about it.

I have lost consciousness from fainting before. You don't even know when it happens .One minute you are here, and the next minute you aren't. You don't know anything happened, until you wake up, and you don't remember anything or experience any pain.

That happened to me too when I went under anesthesia. I was nervous and looking up toward the ceiling. Suddenly a hole opened up in the ceiling, and a pale yellow light like the sun came out. It slowly got bigger and came toward me until it was hovering right over me and was so close I could have reached out and touched it. Then suddenly it felt like the floor opened up beneath me, and I was falling. Then I was out.

I recently had a surgery for gall blatter removal and, if losing consciousness due to SN ingestion is in any way similar to how I lost consciousness before the procedure, I would describe it as "abrubtly peaceful". Just passed out suddenly and it's like there's just a gap of time between the moment I became unconscious and the moment I woke up, hours later. A gap filled by literally nothing, no dreams, just inexistence. So much so, that when I woke up hours later, I was under the impression that something must had gone wrong, that only a few minutes had gone by, and that the surgery had to be postponed somehow (the surgery did happen). I just couldn't believe that hours went by after I lost consciousness, because nothing filled that time in my mind. It's not like when you sleep and have dreams.

The times I've passed out (not from anesthesia) I remember feeling slightly confused but calm, then quickly things went dark - no dreams, no sense of time, nothing.

That's true too. There's a really easy way, something like standing with your head between your knees, quickly stand upright and breathe hard against your thumb

Losing conscientiousness is very peaceful... The other effects of SN maybe not so but just drifting away is quite amazing. I've been under anesthesia a handful of times and what sucks is waking up. The moments before going are very peaceful to me.

For me it was like falling asleep really quick, was really peaceful
