Does anybody know what the article says in the Peaceful Pill Handbook 2020 about the R2D ReBreather 2?

Yeah, that's far too expensive for just one passage of information. I thought we would have some exit members on this forum tbh.It is now, April 26, possible to buy The peaceful pill handbook 2021 from Amazon in the USA, 95 dollar. But it is not possible to see in the book, if Exit has written about R2D Rebreather II. And can we trust what they write anyway - how can anyone know if the device works? I do not know if I dare to use the Rebreather II, I fear the method will fail, it seems too good to be true, but I can not the technique with gas and exit bag, it will be too difficult for me.
I have a cylinder bag and all that but getting the proper regulator has been a nightmare in the UK. Getting the correct tank pressure is essential. Yeah, I have no problem buying the R2 device in time, but the first iteration was not great and that put people off. It's worth looking into the new one, though, and from what I hear it has some significant improvements from the first design.I don't get why people think this won't work? People have been using exit bags for years. Why do you think they call it the Peaceful Pill Handbook? Inert gasses are the easiest and most peaceful way to go. You want to do SN and puke it all up? Go for it but this isn't something new someone thought up. It's just an updated version.
I have the rebreather II. just got it. It won't fail anymore than the first one or an exit bag if you follow the instructions. The exit bag is the same thing as this. The only even sort of hard part is the gauge and that's it. I was thinking this morning that would actually be easier because this has many components.
Instead of buy-in a hard copy of the PPH you can get online for 2 years for the same price with all the updates.
Anyway. Spend more time looking into options instead of just dismissing stuff out of hand.
Cool. I am sure I will purchase it at some point and keep it as a backup to SN.I have the Max Dog Regulator but I saw a video in the PPHe and it seemed complicated with the connection to the tank. If I can figure that out it might be easier. I have the new one. This one they fixed the valve in the mask so it works, they put the soda lime in mylar bags and it now has 2 hoses. Also, before you couldn't take it out before use but now y ou can take everything out and get the mask to fit and see how all the connections are so you now you've got it, have the mask inflated right, the head straps on. I posted a picture of it here somewhere. You can see it on a mannequin.
Have a look at Greeberg's blog with regards to a regulator. The ones from escmode are apparently the best, theyre not cheap but you get what you pay for.I have a cylinder bag and all that but getting the proper regulator has been a nightmare in the UK. Actually, I am done with the exit bag method anyway. It already gave me too much heartache and it was costly.@paulstrong i don't think they sell them anymore. You just need a certain size to fit a 20 cu ft tank. I paid $300 for mine.
Could you PM me where you ordered the gas from? Im looking for suppliers but going round in circles a bit. Thank you :)Actually, I am done with the exit bag method anyway. It already gave me too much heartache and it was costly.
do you live in the uk?Could you PM me where you ordered the gas from? Im looking for suppliers but going round in circles a bit. Thank you :)
got mine fromYeah.
how do I pm then?Yeah.
It's reviewed quite favourably in the PPH (August e-edition) although I don't think there are many recorded cases of the use of the latest version so i don't think there are any hard statistics. It's quite simple and a closed system and doesn't require the purchase of any pressurised cylinders. You just re-breathe your own breath but it absorbs your CO2 so that that doesn't build up which would otherwise cause you to panic. The 2017 version is a much improved version with better seals and a better mask. No reason why it shouldn't work well. Any idea what someone could say the package is to avoid suspicion? Based on its size.. I don't know if I would manage to order one of these without it being discovered by people I live with.I got mine today. If you go to the respiro site you can order and on the page you can download instructions. There is also a slide show showing how to use. I have the link but not sure about posting.
everyone who ordered is getting and the science says it will work. Ifs the same as an exit bag but uses the mask.
inert gas is the epitome of peaceful pull ctb. And no puking.

The 2020 model of the R2D DeBreather has been in the US by a Final Exit Network research team and by Exit International in the Netherlands. testing involve monitoring the level of oxygen and carbon dioxide the system. The unit was checked for ease of positioning of the chin strap, the effective sealing of the face-mask, and the overall comfort of the R2D.
US tests had three volunteers breathing down the oxygen to the pre-determined point of 14% which is equivalent to an altitude of 3000 meters. As one FEN researcher, Neal Nicol said, 'the mask was comfortable and it too only a few minutes to get the O2 level down, dropping at a rate of - 25 /min.There ws no significant rise in CO2 level and no leakage detected, even with a beard'. Time to loss of consciousness was predicted to take 10 mins.
In the Netherlands, an air pump circulated 12 litres of air through the closed system @2 litres/minute. A buying candle was used in the experiment - a candle consumes oxygen at approximately the same rate as an adult (250 ml/min). Level of oxygen and carbon dioxide in the system were monitored. Again, no detectable rise in CO2 was detected and the oxygen level dropped steadily until the flame was extinguished.
In all trials, when the facemask was fitted and the DeBreather attached it was found to be comfortable and breathing was easy. With the R2D Facemask it is possible to recline comfortably (unlike with the Exit Bag)
This means the DeBreather could be used outside, at the beach, in the forest etc. One could lie back and gaze at the stars. Drifting to one's death.
The original (1998) De-Breather was about 80% efficient (80% successful deaths) so the (2017) improved version that ships now should be even better.
Hi, could you please pm me , so I can reply and ask if I have the right link/item ? ThanksI have it and I Don't trust it at all. So wretched to realise this. I thought it was my answer
