So recently I wanted to check how toxic X actually has become. After hearing about grok making users nude. Which was insane.
I stumbled over this AI meme video with a certain song. I couldn't forget about the song. In German we call that an "Ohrwurm" and earworm. Oh this idiom exists on English too. Lol.

The Ai video was weird Kirk said his last words, you saw his face, and then it showed Jeffrey Epstein giving Charlie Kirk a bullet. And then they celebrate together. I think I will link the video. It is really weird and morbid.

Then I found out there is an actual song with these lyrics.

Someone seemingly seriously thought this was a good idea for an anthem to commemorate Charlie Kirk. By the way the song was created with the help of AI most likey and was released by a creator who posts pro Christianity related songs. The lyrics backfire and can be used to make fun of Kirk pretty easily.

I played it on repeat the Youtube song and read the comments and some of the comments are pretty funny. At the same time I felt like a horrible human being for listening to it. Not really taking it serious. So I stopped listening to it.

But I am confused about the morals. Is there anyone looking good when talking about this song?

First, the creator wanted to make cheap bucks with an AI song. The song should commemorate someone but he could have anticipated that mockery. Moreover, Charlie Kirk wasn't one of the good guys either in my opinion.

The X video, the meme with Jeffrey Epstein seems to be a little bit depraved. At the same time, memes about Jeffrey Epstein are okay, funny and legitimate to most people on the internet. Why should one draw a line with Charlie Kirk and where is the fine line?

It feels horrible and I try to stay away from it. But I am curious about what you think?

Not going to listen, zero interest, so I'm not going to comment on the specific song/video... but generically...

Even before AI, so many people would give me cringe vibes when they would slap together some random-ass thing as a "tribute" and present it like they were proud of having created something. "Look what I made" predates the AI slop... it's just the AI lets them do some things faster and sometimes a little better... but you can still see the complete lack of effort or thought or dedication to anything.

What's worse... people used to seem like they saw this sort of thing for what it was... attention or cash grab... but more and more I see shit like this presented as if it is the same as someone else's blood, sweat, tears, and true emotion... and people will treat it as if it is just as good somehow.

So much fake... with or without AI... and so many people eating it up.

Used to be there was good stuff and bad stuff and you at least saw the effort in the bad stuff and then there was the true shit that you could tell had no heart. Now the bad stuff and the no-heart fake stuff get so much attention, the people who make the good stuff are getting discouraged and wondering why they should bother when no one cares to differentiate between anything anymore.

The race to the bottom takes many forms.

While commercial interests are blinded by the unknown potential of AI, most people seem fed up with it. I think supply is much higher than demand.
Even I, being an AI optimist, acknowledge the stream of garbage, and the miserable attempts at half-baked AI solutions to problems that has already been solved a long time ago.

I think the perception of AI is skewed by a large volume of people desperately trying to profit from it.

To me the line is drawn, when content becomes deceptive, misleading people.
The song and the clip, both passes as acceptable.

One celebrating standing firm behind your convictions, uplifting Kirk as an example of that. The other being more of a chaotic mess vaguely associating him with Epstein.
Neither tries to convince anyone of anything, and if the song offers a sense of community and safety for Christians, then great.

I'll be honest, I didn't even know who Charlie Kirk was before he was murdered. From some of the stuff I researched about him after his death, I wasn't a big fan. With that being said, I do not condone his murder. As for the song, I listened to it for about 5 seconds, cringed, and proceeded to turn it off.

While I think that AI song is to mock Kirk, the video is clearly a joke. Now people are just looking to paste Epstein onto any topic really.

As for the song, I do find it a bit uncomfortable that some people idolize Kirk due to a lot of his views are directly harmful. I'm pretty sure the "creator" of this song released it as a tribute in good faith. I remember comments where this song has been used of people who are mourning him and showing respect. I have also realised a lot of people couldn't tell if it even was AI. Personally is obvious.

Anything AI-generated is slop, but getting dangerously realistic, and it will improve. I find it scary. X has been in many legal battles regarding Grok, as it's literally the most unhinged of the popular ones out there.

While AI has it's uses, it has reached a point that humans no longer have motivation to do anything, and can't be anything as we have and will continue to be replaced. I agree regulations need to be placed, but I don't believe it will ever happen. Might even just kill us in the end. It's used in war.
