Discussion What do you think about death by overdosing on Brazil nuts?

Binging on Brazil nuts doesn't seem too hard, and doing so would lead to an excessive amount of selenium.
Availability doesn't seem to be a problem. How reliable, though, is it?

I think it would be a pretty lengthy death, and with the suffering put aside, would let enough time to be healed if you end up in hospital. But you'd get to eat a bunch so at least you shouldn't be hungry ^^

If it was that easy they would have banned Brazil nuts already

that's a new one. I think it would really hurt. You can't digest them so it would be like having major cramps. I wouldn't recommend it

Technically you could but you would have to eat enough for your stomach to burst. Very painful way to go. It was referenced in the movie Se7en (which is a great movie, by the way).

Yeah, I don't think this is an effective way to go. You would more likely die from your stomach bursting and other causes long before you died from Brazil nuts. Also, when overeating, it is not a pleasant feeling at all.
