I have heard watches and honey would be valuable. This is not a survivalist sire but just wondering if anyone was prepping.
U and me bothAs far as Im concerned,Im in the apocalypse right now.
Yeah having a sleeping bag and so on your car is a great idea. Once in a blue moon there are these huge winter traffic jams where I live and the authorities have to cater to them all night, often people die in their car and so on; just imagine me sitting there on my camping chair with my -20° sleeping bag, cooking a can of pasta over my gas stoveI actually have a fully kitted out bug out bag. Only problem is...its 200 miles away lol.
There was a power cut once in my flat and I had nothing to do, so I did some cleaning and tidying. I uncovered lots of abandoned camping gear and for a laugh, put it all in a bag for the car. Over the years I then added to it and unfortunately my OCD kicked in and it started to become a bit of an obsession.
Bits and pieces came in handy though over the years, there's nothing wrong with being prepared.
I always used to carry a Swiss Army knife and a micro torch wrapped in duct tape. These things got used constantly.
Me too. It's just common sense really. Always carried a knife too, though never as a weapon (my itty bitty Swiss Army knife). I also always bought people Swiss Army Knives for presents if I thought they would appreciate it, and they usually did and still carry them today.Mhh honey. Never thought of that but makes sense. Probably has a very long shelf life as well.

I mean and then people call you paranoid and crazy for such a low effort thing like a big out bag but okay. My paranoia has served me well more than one time

I dont think honey or liquor expire. I also heard anti biotics will be of great value.
Sadly, that has crossed my mind too. There's a benefit to living in major cities few people think about, and that is that in case of nuclear war your death will be instant (at least if you live close to the centre)
why sadly.. who the f would want to live in a post nuclear apocalypse world??Sadly, that has crossed my mind too.
