Venting What do you hate in this life?

The fact people will give you a detailed rundown of why life sucks ass in so many different ways, but do a complete 180 and give empty platitudes when you agree with their displeasure of the world and say you want to ctb. Also, the fact that the system is designed around nothing but the acquisition of money.

I've wished on so many occasions I was born an Alpaca. Instead of worrying about "productivity" and taxes, I would have just had to eat and grow my wool out to be deemed "valuable".

Rather than hating the universe for its indifference—the five mass extinctions, the endless expansion toward destruction, or the way creatures must sacrifice each other to survive—I find myself more frustrated by the systems humans have built.

The universe is silent, it only asks us to grow, reproduce, and stay alive. But humans have created a different kind of trap. We are born into a world of responsibilities: working just to survive, chasing money, and meeting endless expectations from ourselves and others. We are told to keep the peace and care for others' feelings, which is good for harmony, but it feels so heavy when we have to sacrifice our own selves in the process.

The irony is that we are "cursed" with intelligence. Our smart brains allow us to think about things much deeper than just survival. Sure, because of this, we can enjoy beauty and do what we love, but those feelings are only temporary. We aren't allowed to stay in that peace forever.

There is always outside pressure to be "productive." In this world, if you don't produce something, you can't survive. It's completely absurd! I don't know how much longer I can endure this. This is what I hate about the world. How about you? Please, feel free to share your thoughts here. :)

the neverending cycle of poverty and the way people think it's easy to get out of it.
the fear of being homeless from the cause above.
the way you constantly have to contribute "positively" to the society, and often the image of that excludes disabled and neurodivergent people starting from elementary school.
dating apps.
humans destroying nature for their selfish cause like data centers and all those other meaningless things. i mourn the great reef everyday and the fact i had to witness its death during my lifetime.
and something lighter to finish off my thoughts -- "new recipe, same texture/taste"
