Help what do i do?

i got box cutter blades yesterday and want to SH. i've done it before with kitchen knifes but they were dull. is there anything i should know or should i just do it? i don't want to do anything that'll get me in the hospital.
i'm asking because i'm worried since they're way sharper i'll accidentally go too deep and end up in the hospital. my family can't afford to pay for hospital bills or anything so i don't want to do anything like that, at least for now

If you're concerned about that then you probably shouldn't do it. If you know you are skint with money and hospital bills could be a pain stake to pay it's probably best to just not use the box cutter. I don't know how careful you are but the risk of mistakenly cutting too deep is always there.

don't do it. write down what you're feeling, what made you believe that sh is justified. if you feel like you're on the brink of losing your mind; ground your body, give yourself some time. scream, cry, kick, anything else.

box cutter blades are way more "advanced" than what you're used to, hun. even slight pressure you could slip, or from your prior use think you need the same amount of pressure. i've messed up many times and blacked out needing stitches. especially if you think you need to harm it just kinda jolts it.

would it be better to try to get a sharper knife instead? since it might be easier to hold or something.
