Nothing in particular, just the usual things, maybe treated myself to a nice meal at a nice restaurant, but other than that, nothing special.

Just like I usually do, wasting my day on the internet. I remember a long time ago on one of my birthdays, I was playing blockland and one of the admins gave me some stuff for my birthday, even though he had no reason to believe me :p.

My wife probably took me out to a restaurant, I don't remember which. But, I do remember that members of a group I volunteer for did a video on FB wishing me happy birthday and thanking me for my work. That meant a lot to me.

I tend to forget my birthday, and I'm not joking. Generally speaking, I don't do parties and celebrations and the like (particularly NY eve, which I hate) I guess I just don't think that way, don't know why.

True story though:, I was in Amsterdam many moons ago and visited the Heineken factory. You get a free beer (or something like that) if it's you're birthday and it was mine that day... but I hadn't remembered it! As I was travelling, I had my passport on me so was able to claim my free beer. That felt like a cool pressie, not for the free beer (but that's good in itself) but for the 'surprise' element.

IF I do celebrate (and it'd be at my partner's suggestion) then it's just a quiet dinner somewhere. I like quiet, I really don't like noise and the hi-jinks of parties etc. I can't relax in that environment.

I was alone because I wanted my peace. Usually my mother sets up a small party with my sisters family and my brother. This time I didnt want that, I curse the day I was born.

I can't remember but probably nothing. I hate birthdays a lot. It is so uncomfortable having everyone make a big deal about completing another miserable orbit. It's all so superficial and makes me even more depressed than usual. I also feel like even more of a loser because I'm another year older and still a worthless waste of resources!

over the couple days i celebrated it, i had the best night of my life, went to dinner with friends, and realized my love for someone.

i had a plan to kill myself that day, but had too much fun.

Alone. I didn't make anything special. I was ok. No one remembered my birthday. Even my mother. She always sent me a card every year (it's my only contact with my mother, trough this birthday card posted by traditional mail).
I didn't feel bad for the missing card of my mother, but I wished she was ok.

Was on holiday with the love of my life, we chilled on the beach and rode jetskis. She took me out for a meal and I had the best steak I'd ever had. She looked absolutely breathtaking. It was the best day of my life.

It always has bothered me and made me feel uncomfortable when people make a big deal because i was around for another 365 days, as if i should be proud. All the same to me, doesnt affect my life.

I had a small birthday celebration, even though I didn't want to. I appreciate my dad wanting to celebrate though. My birthday is on a F up day, January first, everybody was always drunk and or hungover when I was smaller.

Played 3D minigolf with my family and went to a restaurant afterwards. It was a nice birthday and I didn't feel too bad that day. I wonder what other people did when they turned 18, their birthdays were probably much more interesting than mine

It is not a joke. It is where you can sit down and see cats. But the cats there aren't exactly very nice either so.
