Sorry about that. Some pet could really help you. It's nice to have at least a dog in my bed when there is no man with me.

But my dog has a lot of aspects connected with having a boyfriend (I don't mean sex obviously):
she sleeps with me, she kiss me, she snuggles to me, she warms me, she snores quite aloud and she is also hairy lol.
She is the best imitation of human (man) love.
That does sound like it would be nice. If I ever got to live on my own maybe I'd get one but that's not happening anytime soon either.

my cats, movies, books and music. except for my cats (they are just 1 and 2 years old), the rest have saved me during the last 20 years. exercise really helped my mind, but I can survive without it.

p.s.: benzos next to my bed and whisky downstairs too. having them close to me make me confident that I will be able to sleep (a good ol movie also helps).

Music, 100%
I don't understand people who claim not to listen to music, it's everything.

Literally any situation you could ever encounter has a song you can relate to it, if not directly about.

When I'm at my lowest, I can listen to music and help me process my feelings.

If I need motivation, music. It helps make the most menial of things more enjoyable. You can listen to music to incite a mood/feeling, enhance an experience or trigger memories
