it's hard to want to live in a cruel world like this. if you aren't part of the imperial core, you are viewed as less than human. seems insane to live happily in a world where there's so much suffering. i can't tolerate seeing it, which is half the reason i wish to ctb. feels like if i am happy, i'm selling my soul and compromising my own values.
