What are the tricks to get the most out of the search function ?

[Unsure and alone]

So we know the search function unlocks after a certain amount of posts.

But some people seem to know something I don't about getting the most out of that feature.

Based on the times I'll find a very helpful link to what I'm looking for in a comment but that thread didn't appear when I searched myself.

I'm guessing there may be something related to where you search .

Like maybe a search in a mega sticky thread would yield different results than the same search in forums ?

I don't know about that .
It's just a thought I had to try out soon.

Also how do you get the most out of guest mode given you can't use the search function in guest mode ?

Is there a way to narrow the topic in guest mode ?

I know you can choose forum there.
