i have a consultation coming up and i dont want to waste time if they're not a right match. here are some ideas i have:

  1. do you accept clients who are in a suicidal crisis? (avoiding hospitalization if possible)
  2. how long do your patients see you on avg? (aka success rate)
  3. what is your availability during emergencies?
i know there are a lot of resources online about this but i thought y'all might have some other ideas that i havent considered :)

That's a great idea!
If one also takes medicine and sees a psychiatrist regularly, it might be useful to ask if the therapist considers consulting this psychiatrist and working together with them to make sure the therapy suits your diagnosis/diagnoses.
Also, if you've already got a diagnosis, you could ask whether the therapist contemplates looking through your symptoms again to make sure you've got the right one.
