What Really Matters Anymore?

I was guaranteed medical care after retirement by company and now they are changing the rules to eliminate. Health issues mean I can't get long-term care insurance. Inflation in US is going to be consistently high for many more years - one food item at the store went up 14 % in just two weeks. Companies have figured out they can charge whatever they want for their goods and services and bleed everyone dry. Sick spouse and every life-related cost is spiraling. Nursing home care is not only expensive but putridly filthy and abusive to the defenseless old within the prison walls. Only good thing is I have a couple of years left on my insurance policy so I am picking suicide to support spouse's end-off-life needs in a dignified manner. Really glad this site exists. Bottom line is that no matter where you live, no-one will be coming to help you mentally, financially, legally, or socially. Governments are barely keeping order and health care systems can barely meet demands given aging populations. Good luck everyone! Work hard, save hard, do "the right" things, it won't make any difference.
