Woke up this morning to cops knocking on my door, go downstairs to open the door, and there stands 3 of them. They said " are you currently suicidal or homicidal" I was like no …. And then they replied with "well we have resources that can help you."
And I said okay yeah thanks, and then they just left? How pointless was that, obviously I'm not going to tell them the truth lol.

Also wtf. My therapist apparently called them?
Pissed me off because my neighbors heard the whole interaction.

I kinda felt embarrassed for the cops though, because they came to my house for absolutely no reason. I'm sure they were thinking how dumb the whole situation was fr.

Well I assume they didn't give the resources because you said no, them saying that after your response was them just giving you another chance to speak up if you wanted the help.

But yeah cops coming doesn't usually do any good unless I guess you were seconds away from acting on your plans.
