Well there goes the military

My recruiter went radio silent on me after MEPS. My recruiter was supposed to pick me up from MEPS after I failed but he sent someone else to go do it and just to make it worse, not only did I fail the ASVAB, failed the medical but I also lost my social security card at MEPS so it was a horrible experience for me.

I guess the path to the Marine Corps is closed for me now. All I can do now is try to maybe work security or work a higher paying job instead of my retail job I work or maybe work LE to make up to the military.

Having to admit self harm scars carries the same embarassment as someone finding the porn I watch on my phone.

Edit : I have the ASVAB for dummies and holy shit even with that I can't comprehend 2x + 17 = y - 21 = 32. Low IQ really did me bad.

I'm sorry to hear that. i was hoping to get into the military as well, but was unfortunately immediately disqualified since I'm autistic which sucks. I hope you find success in finding work!!

Man, that sounds like a rough experience I'm sorry you had to go through all that. Failing MEPS, losing your SS card, and your recruiter going silent… that's a lot to take in. But failing the ASVAB doesn't define you, and struggling with math isn't about IQ—it's about practice. You're not dumb.

im so sorry you wernt able to do something you deeply wanted to. This might just be my personal experience everyone i've heard go into military or army come back messed up with nightmares of people getting murdered. The reason you want to join the military ( to help your country or people for example ) is still achievable
