yeah i agree. and shotgun or rifle is has many times the power of a 9mm handgun but there is a lot of pro-life propaganda saying that a shotgun or rifle to the side of the head is survivable

its just frustrating. while a 9mm isnt ideal per se, there is a reason why most armies use it as their sidearms. a .22lr can kill if aimed right, a 9mm will do plenty. while plenty of good advice has come out of the forum, a lot of peoples attitudes on em are rather frustrating considering firearms are literally anywhere else regarded as the most effective suicide methods, whether pistols or shotguns. somehow people here trust a salt used for curing meat more than a weapon made specifically to kill, after centuries of innovation to make it more effective at that role, and centuries of it being used in warfare. the 9mm parabellum was first used in warfare more than a century ago and now not only is it still in use, not only in common use, but every major army uses it as their main sidearm, if not also in their submachine guns too, but somehow all of them are wrong.

tho i could say ur wrong cuz 9mm shotguns exist, firing the 9mm flobert cartridge, but i know ur talking abt 9mm parabellum and in any case a 9mm parabellum would be more effective than the flobert tbh. but fun fact: there was a case where someone made a homemade zip gun that fired a 9mm flobert shotshell that he turned into something more like a pistol round, and committed suicide with it. article is here but contains pics of the mans body so NSFL be warned its gory n shit. if a guy can do it with a shite rusty zip gun that fires an underpowered round that wasnt supposed to nor shouldnt exist, you can do it with a factory-made weapon that fires the round that has statistically killed the most people in america
