If/When I have SN delivered - and if there is a welfare check - do I legally have to reveal anything about the purpose of my purchase? Like do I have to tell the cops what it's for if they ask? Or can I just say, "Legally I don't have to tell you that." ?

Sorry if this is a stupid question, I've only ever had one welfare check on me and I was 16 so I gave in to them.
