- Political leaders - Even greater masses to rule over (and to vote for them, in 'democracies')
- Religious leaders - More and more dumb followers who believe in their pulled-out-of-ass fairy tales without question

Now you tell me, isn't it absolutely against their self-interest if you decide to make less hamsters to put on their wheels? isn't even the thought of allowing you an easy exit abhorrent to their ears?

If they're running the world, why would you even expect things to go in any other direction?

I wanted to rant because I'm tired of living and not being able to die peacefully. I'm tired of seeing others suffer without being able to do anything about it. I am going to a country where there are now more and more revolts, but more and more abuses by the police.

But I am going to a country made up essentially of elders who have stolen the politicians who run the country at their convenience, far from the realities suffered by the younger generations. They lived in their world of abundance, without limits, were able to access property, freedoms with far fewer restrictions, in a planet that did not suffer the consequences of global warming, and little pollution. But this generation has imposed a devastated planet on young people, be careful I'm not saying everyone, there were a lot of elders who remained poor, workers, ... did not participate in the devastation of this planet. On the other hand, I do not understand why the elders have done everything to ensure that there are policies that prevent all laws allowing a chosen end of life and better living conditions for the youngest, who are their children. To have a shitty life, to be rejected, and an impossibility of CTB, or to be euthanized, and it is the assured catastrophe.

Don't forget that if there are rich people, religious leaders, politicians, it's because most people don't rebel against that, they let themselves go.

So yes, there are revolts here and there against inequalities of wealth, against draconian laws, but too few to change the situation. For what?

Everyone knows that they did not ask to be born, they themselves were born without asking! So why do they do everything to retain, to life, the others who want to die when they have decided? Impossibility of having N, SN... being insulted, rejected, always being criticized... So yes it's a prison, so yes, you have to shout! There are more and more people to crack mentally in this world today, especially since the laws are more and more in the direction of 1984 of George Orwell.

I especially pity people who only have mental illnesses, because hardly any country allows these people to be able to die peacefully at their convenience. Apparently, these people are not capable of discernment, it is apparently necessary to lock them up, to deprive them of everything! But, mental health is deteriorating for more and more people, given the stress in particular, and the prospect of 1984, so everyone will be locked up. Above all, if we continue to despise, as today, the mental health and the discernment of people, especially on the right to the chosen end of life, this ultimate individual freedom! To me, this hellish world certainly is so prison like, I view existing as being an undeserved punishment as we were forced here so unfairly yet denied options of reliable ways to take control over our inevitable fate. And I certainly do believe that this world is becoming more and more pro life as time goes on.

I just hate the fact how there is a lack of acceptance towards what should be a basic human right, humans tell lies about suicide being "irrational" to try and justify denying people true freedom from this existence, but at least to me it's the most logical thing wanting to prevent a future filled with suffering where there is no limit as to how much we can be tortured. I will always despise this world where existence is viewed as an obligation rather than a personal choice, it's beyond cruel to try and force other people to stay here.

Also, as helium is getting more expensive it's simply cheaper to dilute it, especially if you still get the same effect. So this can be explained through the power of the market alone. suicide is WAY less of a taboo than what it used to be. Again, it used to be so insanely taboo, people would literally deny that you killed yourself in your own obituary´, then lie about your cause of death. Today, that's not the case. You can talk about suicide much more openly than before.

There are seven countries that legalised abortion since 2020. So literally the opposite is true. The US is one of the only countries where the trend is unclear.

Not in my country though. Indonesia is increasingly religious (majority islam) than ever. There's no way Indonesian atheists could see a bright foreseeable future unless they can get out of here and stop looking back with sympathy

that's fair enough, right now Islam is still crushing it due to higher birthrate.

But with an ongoing westernisation of the world, more technological progress and spreading education, it'll share the same fate as Christianity in the long run. But I admit that in individual countries you might observe different trends in the mid-term. Regardless, Irreligion is still the fastest growing category across the board.

As I look out into the future of this world, I don't see one worth staying in. I remember an interview with Noah Chomsky, where he said something along the lines of "...the lucky ones will be the ones who died quickly." I see a world dividing itself up more and more along very misguided lines. I see world economies failing and headed toward disasters. I see humans, in general, devolving by the day. Almost like high-functioning cave people. I see a world not worth living in. Yet, people want to continue to attach some kind of value to life. To me, life just isn't worth living. I can't wait to ctb. I have my means, and I can't wait to leave. I don't like what's coming, and I can't delude myself any longer.
