Was at a Halloween party last night - crashed pretty bad

I was at a party last night surrounded by people having a good time. I knew a lot of them and it was good to see friends again. Pain level jumped then I just crashed. Couldn't wait to get out of there.

This just gets so old. If it wasn't for my cats I think I'd do it. Part of me says hang on, part says why fight it. My cats keep me here. Not sure what I'm going to do when they're gone.

I understand, I have it too. It's so maddening when it seems like everything should be fine based on outward perception, but you're fighting a war inside your own body that no one can see. And for the most part you can't control it. You can't schedule it so that it stays away when you're out socializing or trying to work.

It's nice you at least have your cats, my own cat trie to comfort me when I'm feeling miserable from the pain too.
