Is there anyone else here who feels the same way?
I don't usually take an interest in topics like this, unless they're unusual or involve violence. Recently, I came across a long, emotional discussion started by someone who had been a victim of serious violence for a long time. It felt familiar to me: I myself had previously committed similar prolonged violence and, to some extent, behaved exactly as this person described. I don't regret it; on the contrary, I had ideas about how to present my version of events, but given my detached tone, that would have led to "cancel", disgust or criticism.
