  • Hey Guest,

Today, OFCOM launched an official investigation into Sanctioned Suicide under the UK’s Online Safety Act. This has already made headlines across the UK.

This is a clear and unprecedented overreach by a foreign regulator against a U.S.-based platform. We reject this interference and will be defending the site’s existence and mission.

In addition to our public response, we are currently seeking legal representation to ensure the best possible defense in this matter. If you are a lawyer or know of one who may be able to assist, please contact us at [email protected].

How difficult is it to learn how to speak through sign language? I've realized that interactions with other people are the root of my issues, and I would prefer to cut said interactions out of my life if possible. I'd like to take the path of the wise hermit and leave society behind. To that end, I would like to take a vow of silence and become a grey man within society, to limit my interactions and refuse social interaction. So much of my social anxiety is triggered by talking, and talking in and of itself is such a flawed method of communication. Nobody listens to what you genuinely mean, and nobody cares to remember a word you said. Everyone is so superficial, shallow, apathetic, and egotistical anymore.

In my view rather than complety stop talking you should choose the way of ignoring personal talks and talk with people only when it's something professional or necessary to communicate through and do it in less words.

I do not know about sign language, and if it is difficult or not, but I can relate, I strongly dislike physically talking. It does bring me a lot of stress and I never feel comfortable doing it. Most of the interactions I have with others, I get nothing out of. I would happily isolate myself from others and only talk out of necessity.

Hi. As much as I agree, I think sign language is too complex for everyday life. in addition, people who know you are not mute or deaf will wonder why you are communicating like this and it will draw even more attention.

Just the prospect of talking exhausts me, actually talking sends me into panicking tailspin. Would love it if everyone used sign language.

I took a vow of swag 5 years ago and never looked back. Consider that instead.

Omg. Being practically mute is so horrible. I can't imagine using sign language to just say 'yeah and ugh huh'
