  • Hey Guest,

Today, OFCOM launched an official investigation into Sanctioned Suicide under the UK’s Online Safety Act. This has already made headlines across the UK.

This is a clear and unprecedented overreach by a foreign regulator against a U.S.-based platform. We reject this interference and will be defending the site’s existence and mission.

In addition to our public response, we are currently seeking legal representation to ensure the best possible defense in this matter. If you are a lawyer or know of one who may be able to assist, please contact us at [email protected].

Couldn't we all write to the government or governing bodies/parliament in our countries to vote to force a bill in for euthanasia for mental health and for all there is way more of us in sanctioned suicide than people who aren't on this website do you reckon we would get more votes than other people and it would work?

tbh i really doubt something like that would work, prolifers would prbly regard it as the same as forcing a bill to make murder legal

Euthanasia exists in some forms and in some countries and is currently being fought for all around the world. I don't know how much the users of this website could get done on their own, but the fight is not hopeless. I don't pay much attention to the news, but a friend sent me this article this summer. If you want to get involved in the "right to die" movement. Look to see if there's any activists or legislation in the works in your area.
