Hello. I'm sorry you are suffering so much. It sounds awful. Afraid I don't have any pets but I love watching YouTube videos of other people's pets. I watch Sherpa and Key a lot (two huskies) and also 'Girl with the dogs'- a grooming lady who grooms both cats and dogs and has a great sense of humour.

Yes, several. I'm actually am a creator of one although Im too unwell to admin it now so leave that to others. They aren't much good to talk about suicidal ideation though. Some groups don't allow it and those that do, people often respond with unhelpful comments.

It's horrific how such extreme suffering continues to exist in this world, the human body really can be so prison like and it's awful how it can torture people to such great extents. To me, it's terrible how some of those support groups don't allow conversation about suicide, but it's not surprising. We live in such a pro life society after all where many people would rather believe in delusions than accept suicide as being a valid option to end suffering. There could never be anything wrong with someone wanting to be free from this life and it should be able to be discussed about. But I wish you the best.

Ugh I run into the same situation with my illness group. You get bombarded with platitudes from fellow sufferers who should know better. I'd like to interact with more patients whose condition is past bearing and don't want to 'hang in there' as they like to say. I'd like to know how those folks are coping with waking up every day to compounding body horror. In the past some of them have found their way here but not lately.

Yes, I feel the same! The 'hang on in there' platitude is one of the most annoying. Hang on in there for what? I'm getting more and more unwell as time goes on with no chance of recovery or improving.

I have a severe orthopedic disease that could have been resolved, but I was diagnosed late. Around 8 doctors couldn't make a diagnosis, and I had to diagnose myself from Google. 10 years late...

I wish we could get relief from our suffering as soon as possible.

@Jadzia this is Drac. He is a Czech Shepherd. He has elbow issues and one of his back legs is held together by metal. He's 8 now. I never thought he'd get this far but he's still going strong.

@Jadzia this is Charlie, he's 11 years old now. I've had him since he was 1 as he was a difficult dog and had 5 homes in his first year. His back legs are starting to go but he still finds the energy to have a run and a play sometimes.

@Jadzia this is Maya. She's a Belgian Malinois (pronounced mal-en-wah). She's 2 and a half. She's basically a velociraptor with fur. Due to a relationship break up I will be losing her at the end of this week. I'll miss her but I know she'll be happy going where she is.
