Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

I have chronic, debilitating tinnitus that has destroyed my enjoyment in life, murdered my sleep, i become insomniac and dependent on sleeping pills, and the loud debilitating noise doesn't even wanna leave me even for 1 min.

So i told my husband that i can't take this anymore, i said to him i wanna do VAD in Switzerland, with such a heavy heart for him to decide, he agreed. He still hopes i will change my mind but he respects my decision and hope things will change but from people's experience who have chronic tinnitus and hyperacusis , if tinnitus doesn't disappear in 3 months, it will most likely be permanent. I love silence and I can't imagine living without silence for the rest of my life.

Now I'm thinking how should i tell my parents? Because their criteria is, they should be informed but no supporting letter or consent letter from them is needed.
