We have similar med issues and close in age. I don't know the details of when she took it. Only what she posted here. She was suffering horribly. We texted a lot and talked on the phone once. I had been looking all week and found it Thursday night. I'm so sad.

Yes, thank you for not posting it. I saw someone else's obituary that was posted here and someone from here posted a message on it and used that person's screen name here, which could lead family to a search and finding all that person's posts. Not cool.

She was okay with her article and obit being shared. I was very close to her. I don't think it bothered her much that someone did that, truth be told. I understand the perspective though and thought it was a bit invasive.

I believe theryhdler has passed.

I had been talking to her over the last couple of days and learned she was very close to the end. It was a blow to me as I liked her a lot and felt that she had been doing okay. I confess I really didn't want to see her go and tried to get her to postpone/rethink a little, but I don't think it worked. She had her N and was ready to go and there was nothing I could do. I got one last message from her yesterday which read as very final. I'm not sure if she would even be comfortable sharing this with you guys. She was such a lovely girl and I'll miss her a lot. I pray she is okay and at peace if she was successful in her attempt.

she was incredibly welcoming and helpful when i first came here and i know she was always willing to help others. i knew she got N but i was also hoping she'd choose a different path. whatever her choice was, i hope things worked out how she wanted and shes found some peace.

Just to clarify, I don't know for sure. This could be way premature on my part. I was not told to wait x amount of days, or a week. I was upset about it and wanted to get it off my chest. Based on what she said I was 99% certain. But please stop with the messages, quotes, etc. I know as much as anyone else at this point. I made a mistake in posting the above.

@Ali who announced her plans to CTB ( https://sanctioned-suicide.net/threads/tonight-can-be-my-night.11346/ ) got rescued (found) and is in the hospital right now.
I am in contact with her on FB. She gave me permission to give you guys this update. She might log in soon to explain in detail about her failed attempt.

I talk to him off the forum; l personally haven't heard from him in a few days (last time was Saturday night).

But I think his (supposed) area has been hit with a big snowstorm and a lot of people lost power. I'm hoping that's all it is; he has me worried too.
