I noticed her name can't be searched or @'d anymore, I couldn't help wondering if maybe it was her requesting a ban or deactivation of the account...

I honestly am not sure if you are making a joke or not. Is that normal protocol? I thought if someone ctb'd their account stayed on here.

I am not joking. I wouldn't joke about mod statements like this. this is normal protocol. if they failed their attempt or backed out of it they can make a ticket to get it back of course.

Lostinloop haven't been banned cus (what i looked up) hasn't said they attempted to ctb.

I should have clarified, 2messdup's name can still be searched if you manually type it out in advanced search, it just doesn't pop up as an option under the list of users. All of her posts are still here, I just noticed something changed recently, with her account not being in the users list and not being able to @ her. So I just wanted to know if something happened that would indicate she was still with us, but her account hasn't been removed from the site so to speak.

afaik that's how it works; accounts don't usually get removed fully but get derostered or something. many, many confimed gone members still have visible accounts that can be seen, searched, and tagged, but won't be suggested by the system when trying to do those things.

Maybe Namelesa or someone can clarify on the period of time it takes for that to happen...

it happens when an account is banned of any kind (either by request, ctb or rule violations) or they disabled their account.

Sorry. I found it hard to believe you were joking, but I just didn't realize a ctb can get a ban. Thanks for explaining guys.

Type the name grapefruit04 in the member name bar of the search options and click find . Even though the name does not auto complete you will get all the results.

Has anyone had any contact with Satori Komeiji? They were such a sweet and kind person to me, and I really want to get back in touch with them and I really hope they are okay. If anyone knows anything, I'd really love to know. I miss them.

They were super chill and I really appreciated their presence.

not a mod but seemingly yes; his profile went from being fully open to "not available" in addition to the other indicators of a banned account (not suggested when typing username in search bar, no longer able to be DM'ed). the argument that @noname223 referred to was almost certainly the reason.

When this occurs, typically one of the three instances has occurred.

1. The user disabled their account themselves.

2. The user got banned.

3. The user passed away and the moderators disabled their account.
