• Hey Guest,

Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

I posted here about a week ago about my failed attempt at CTB using the CO method. Clearly, that didn't work-i'm still here, talking to you. Since then, I've made several more attempts, all involving the tent setup, and each one ended in failure. Setting up the tent turned out to be far more complicated than I expected. The process was painful-getting the seal right, making sure none of the sides got cold burns-it was tedious and, ultimately, just a massive waste of time.

So, I've given up on that idea too.

Now I'm trying again, and I believe this one is foolproof: using my car(2020 Renault zoe)

I've sealed all the windows/doors. Placed two stone blocks in the back seat. Burned about eight kilograms of charcoal, transferring it into a deep stainless steel casserole dish.

It's been sitting in the back of my car for about an hour now. I just want to give it a little more time to build up before I sneak in.

Wish me luck-or maybe… goodbye.

Please don't. You will most likely suffer brain damage as the emissions are not as toxic as they were years ago

How are you? Did you feel the sealing of the car was important?
Also did you use a Co2 monitor to check levels?

Never thought about this. No doubt that the emissions are way lower nowadays but does this actually affect this method a lot? If it does I'd assume this has high risk of just ending up with brain damage?

He's using the charcoal
Method - not co from car emissions. Two different things. Co from charcoal hasn't gotten any less toxic.

Correct from the preceding poster. The OP is using charcoal, NOT the vehicle exhaust. It's an entirely valid method.

The OP hasn't posted anything since the day he made this post. RIP friend. May you have found your peace.
