I am a gay man and I always have liked straight men, in the sense that I wanted to be a women and wished to have a straight man for husband. I follow these 2 straight men I have been following for years now on social media. Also I have interacted with some of them as they were at my gym. I loved them so much and daydreamed a lot about being their wife. I feel they will make the best husbands as they are great human beings. We are almost the same age. Both got married recently and it is a stab to my heart. I never stood a chance cause I was not a woman.

I'm a lesbian and have had the same struggle throughout my life - wishing I was a man to be with women.
I think it's a way to process/cope with feelings of homosexuality in a heteronormative world.
The obvious solution would simply be to stop torturing ourselves and opt for actual same-sex attracted potential partners.
