So... we had a power outage here for almost 2 hours, which is a rare occurrence. We've always been so dependent on the convenience of electricity that we don't even think about it to take precautions. It took my stupid ass almost fifteen minutes to figure out that everyone in town was without power. We have such low survival instincts that everyone was stuck inside in the dark. Anyways, such a cewl experience!

Just a couple weeks ago I was out for 37+ hours. Windstorm took out some trees and then cats avoiding them to out even more. We had no power or cable, still had cell service. I'm lucky I was not on the middle of it, at least I could get out.

I didn't had internet either, my wifi was down also, I only could text message. But everything outside was dark too, then started thinking, hmm..

It was a real mess and since there wasn't very many customers without power in my area and other areas had many more customers in the dark the power company worked on them first.

i loved short term blackouts as a kid even though i was a total tech junkie. major cities have them rare enough it was nice as a unique treat...nowadays though i am concerned for people who need electronic devices to stay alive because not everyone has a generator. after the last one, i got a small power bank and some other preparedness supplies since i'm all on my own now. it's fun until something goes wrong..!

"Ich bin voll geil." = "I am very horny." or "I am the best."

those two sentences are humorously distinct. though i bet english is funny of things like that and i don't even realise
