Hello everyone, I would like us to talk about creative and unconventional forms of ctb ... but at the same time that they are simple and easily accessible to anyone.

for example, I don't know much about suicide methods, but I live on an island, surrounded by a beach and I constantly hear that "salt water is deadly, if you drink more than 1 liter you can die" ... and I've always wondered what What happens if I go to the beach and fill some bottles with salt water and then drink them ... will I die?

I have no idea the truth ... but I would like to know what creative ways you have come up with at that moment when ctb occupies our entire mind.

I used to spend a lot of time at the beach with my dog. The first few visits, she didn't know not to drink the saltwater. She took in a lot of it as we played fetch. It went in one end and out the other like a clear fountain. Eventually, she learned not to drink the saltwater. I doubt it would do much other than make you sick and dehydrated.

Drinking a liter of salt water would likely just make you sick, nothing fatal.

Shallow water blackout is a loss of consciousness caused by cerebral hypoxia towards the end of a breath-hold dive in shallow water. It is typically caused by hyperventilating just before a dive, which lowers the carbon dioxide (CO2) level and delays the diver's urge to breathe.

Yes, you would die certainly if you drank nothing else. The salt would dehydrate all the water in your body.

This is such an intriguing method. It's actually happened by accident by someone falling into a puddle on the ground. However, though, how much I tried to hyperventilate to feel faint, it just didn't happen.

Hm... You'd have to drink only saltwater over a few days or longer, and even then it might only damage your kidney or you'd throw up the saltwater. You might even have to not eat for it to work, and at that point you're just dying of dehydration which is a terribly painful way to go given all the side effects.

As others have said, the salt would dehydrate you, but there's also other things in the water that might make you just get sick - even without wondering how clean the water is. If you could ctb this way, it'd be difficult, long, and probably painful.

It's kind of like... A person can technically die from drinking too much plain water, but realistically, most people can never drink that much water because their body might reject it after long enough or they could even pass out. It's just not very reliable as a method.

What you are doing is electrocuting yourself, or setting yourself on fire. Not a pretty picture, or easy way to go; actually you could reap scarring, permanent damage or debilitation, and not die.

I don't know how accessible this is but you could go to a place that is expected to have very bad weather and expose yourself to the danger. For example you could go to a place where a hurricane is expected and lie in the path of the storm.

One of my favorite unconventional methods was some guy I read about who tied one end of a rope to a tree, the other around his neck, and slammed the gas in his car - the acceleration ripped his head right off. Though I'm not sure if it's easy to pull off - it sounds like something that would be really bad if it failed.

I live near a beach, my friends know I go there. My friends all know I can't swim [and that I've almost genuinely accidentally drowned a handful of times over the years].

i was thinking about hypothermia.But in a giant fridge or congelator, you know.If youre slim enought , and take some drugs for avoiding too much pain, are alone, have that kind of congelator(like they have in restaurant or food supermarket), are sure no one disturb you, i suppose.. its efficient.. x) it's simple, the form only is a not very conventional( but there is some article about it about it, when police dont know when they discover a body if its suicide or murder)

In early July, I bought a couple of bottles of rum with the idea of CTB by alcohol poisoning. I rarely drink. It was impulsive. I drank half of one bottle straight without being able to finish the rest and woke up flat on my face on the living room floor with the cat looking over me.

Then I thought about stopping fluids altogether with the idea that I would die within 4 days. I knew this would not be hard for me as I have a history of eating disorders. Then I read it could take up to 2 weeks to die by dehydration.

In about 2006 I went to a local graveyard and collected lots of seeds from a specific tree. I took them home, and put a few in a sandwich. I read that it did not take many to CTB. I ate half the sandwich and waited for something to happen - nothing did. Really not convinced this method works.

Years earlier when I was about 18, I was in a terrible state. I picked up a fork - again impulsively and went to drive it into an electric socket. I was tackled to the ground and that was the end of that.
