Kamimachi basically means "waiting for god" but my "gods" are usually just random older men with a spare bed and some really specific, weird requests. People seem to have a lot of theories about girls like me, so I figured I would just lay it all out there, cause I'm bored.

I am Mio, 19, and I have been living as a runaway ghost in and around Yokohama for about a year now. Since I am staying with a guy who actually isn't a monster for once and he is sharing his Wi-Fi and his bed for another night, I wanted to do an uncensored AMA.

Ask me anything at all, no matter how personal, dark, unhinged, or intimate it gets. Completely uncensored.
Want to know about the absolute weirdest "request" a guy has had, or what the longest time I have ever gone without eating? Maybe you are curious how I keep my hair and clothes clean when I cannot find a place to stay, or if guys actually try to "lecture" me. You can ask how I handle it when things turn really scary, or even just what my favorite food is when I actually get to eat.

Nothing is too taboo for me anymore. I can't sleep, and my life is basically a dark joke, so you might as well get some answers while I have the signal.

My Only Rule: No assertive advice or lectures in this thread please. I've heard it all already. I'm just here to chat, so don't try to be my dad.

No question, just a statement: If you're really being genuine and not just trolling, then I wish you luck with him in that he lets you stay indefinitely, hopefully for a long time.

I ususally only stay one night. If the guy is bearable i sometimes stay 2. I never stay longer than 3 and I will not break that rule. I don't want them to get attached to me and dream up that I am their partner or something. Max 3. Never more.

Are the men usually pretty mean?
It is a total coin toss, honestly. I have met real monsters who do the terrible things people always warn you about. Those are the ones who treat me like an object they bought at a convenience store. They beat, cut, or tie me down... just pure evil.

But I have to say, the majority are just lonely. They want to cuddle, or maybe it is their first time, or they are just too busy at work to get an actual girlfriend. They are usually more kind to me. They can be a little weird, but they have a good heart, I guess.

There are also the kinky ones that want to try new stuff and I am way cheaper than the usual street girl that is in it for the money. It does certainly help I still have my old school uniform and look younger. That should tell you enough about a lot of those men.

I watched a show called Higehiro years ago with this exact situation.

Have you ever wondered about meeting someone nice this way?Would you consider actually moving in permanently with someone who seems nice and starting a relationship with them?

Also, how long do you plan to do this? Do you have any other plans for the future or are you playing it by ear?I hope you come across decent people and you stay safe šŸ¤ž

I actually watched that show a while ago, mostly because I was curious to see what people think my life is like. It is a total fairy tale compared to the actual experience, well mine, mrs "W larp". Was wondering how long it would take for somebody to bring it up haha.

I have wondered about meeting someone genuinely nice, but i have had way too many bad experiences to ever take that kind of risk. There are just way too many creeps out there. Especially in this city. To be honest, i would never stay with a guy like the one in that anime. I really hate that lecturing, wannabe dad type. I would much rather earn my stay, make him happy and get it over with, than have to listen to life lessons from a stranger who has no clue about me and i have no energy to tell my whole life story to a stranger (I don't mean you people on this forum. You can ask all you want). I am definitely not in love with them, and they are usually not the type of person I would ever date in a normal life anyway.

Plus, I actually like girls more, so that makes it even less likely. They're cute :3

No idea how long i will stay in the game. I don't think that far. I honestly think i don't even make it that far. Is it even worth my energy to plan ahead? It's life. Life sucks. A part of me would love a static place to stay. No worries about how to get food or where I should go if it rains. Or how to get through another winter without dying or ending up in those overfilled shelters that will just lead to me being shipped back home. It wasn't always like this but i don't feel safe staying in one spot longer than a few days. I am constantly on edge expecting something bad to happen. Like a trapped animal. I cant relax. The only places i can relax is 2 am in some non nightlife area and just sit and breathe. Those are the only moments i ever feel safe. Even with the guy now, he is nice and all but my standards are really low and i just wanted his good wifi for longer. If hes happy with it for another night, yay! go me!

I make so many typos. I must still be waking up.

I seriously didn't want to be the one to bring it up first. I too was waiting for someone else to do it 😁

This was actually another question. This seems like a very difficult life. Like a Vagabond. You're almost like Musashi but without the romanticism.
I saw a documentary a few years ago about the young people living in net cafes and how the net cafes charged very low rent so they preferred that.

I hope things stabilize for you and you find a good place for yourself.

I mostly just try to stay out of the way, but there are spots i often pass by. So near the bigger station plazas or in the underground walkways. It's a bit warmer there, and if I just sit quietly with my phone, people don't really notice me. I don't want to cause any trouble for anyone anyway. Manga or internet cafes are... they're really wonderful, but they're expensive. I can't always afford to go, definitely not regularly. But on the days I manage to save up enough, it feels like a treat. Being able to lock a door and have a tiny space that's mine for a few hours. I love that. And the showers there feel good. They have a lot of useful utilities. Charging my phone is always a big priority throughout the day.

Uh, sometimes I go to a karaoke room during the day. That works as well. Have to try singing and making noise a little bit at first so the staff doesn't think i am just there to sleep, but I usually end up drifting off. I always feel a bit guilty about it because I know they don't like it, and I'm always scared they'll knock on the door and tell me to leave. But it's cheaper than alternatives.

For washing up and things, bigger department stores are good and their restrooms are so quiet and clean. Just try to be really quick and not make a mess. Even if people notice they usually don't question me about it.

Your english is so good!
Thanks, i just sit on my phone all day. It's good training 😁

Wait a second. I thought you used a translator. If your English is so good, why don't you try working as a tour guide in your city?

A lot of travelers want a tour guide who speaks good English. You can make bank. Another person who does the same thing has a YouTube channel which advertises the way to contact them for tours and people reach out to them.Might be something you're interested in.

So are you saying you are a sex worker? I am not understanding totally. I'm a member of Gen W aka old, so I may just not be following. no cap

Are you suicidal?

Is being suicidal connected to being a sex worker or do you think you would be suicidal no matter what?

Do you get money from the older men or just shelter?

Why did you run away?

I don't have any papers on me proving i am real. Nobody will give me a job. Somewhat answered here:
i dont have my student id anymore. I did a really stupid thing while i was waiting for the train after graduation. I was just so angry and i burned everything i had except for my cash. So i literally have no cards or papers left. I burned all my school books and everything. I guess im lucky i didnt have my graduation documents on me then or i would have burned those too.

I don't really think of myself as a sex worker. I don't work at a club or anything. I post on social media or dating apps hoping someone will let me stay at their place. Mostly, i just want a safe room to sleep in, a warm shower, and maybe a meal. It's better than walking around all night.

Sometimes they give me a little bit of pocket money for the train or whatever, but i do it mostly just to have a roof over my head. But... the men who let me stay almost always expect me to do things with them in return to varrying degrees. I am not a big fan of doing it but it can't be helped.

I don't even know if i am truly suicidal in the normal sense. I am just really tired and everything hurts and i am freezing even in summer. Im exhausted. Suicide doesn't look like a bad option to me.

I ran because of trouble with my parents, not being able to handle stress, some stuff at school, i just needed to get the fuck out of this city!
