ubering to the woods at night?

i've been feeling self conscious recently, so i'm worried the title sounds really stupid. would my uber not mind? there's no gate at the entrance so he wouldn't know that the park is closed. what do you guys think? i don't have a way to tell until i pick up the order.

I mean, if I were an Uber, pay is pay. But other people aren't me.... it depends on your driver honestly. But remember, suspisciousness rises way slower if you do not act suspicious. Sounds easier said than done sometimes, I know. It may look weird, but I don't think they'll just entirely deny you or kick you out just for wanting to go there.

Just try to not give off a ''I'm gonna bury drugs to hide them here'' vibe.

ahhhhh. not having a license is really annoying guys!!! i won't act suspicious probably. maybe i'll book it earlier, like 11 pm instead of 12 am? i don't know if ubers can tell where the location is when they pick up the order, since they just get the notification.

i think i could pretend like i'm stargazing or something? i might still look weird.

If I was the uber in all honesty Im not even picking you up in my car no hate or anything intended with that. It's just super weird and risky to pick people especially at night and to the woods. Almost feels like an obvious setup for an armed robbery.

also i guess because the ride is technically close to home? i'm trying to avoid bikers seeing me when i get to the woods since last time i went there were at least 6 of them in the early afternoon. do you think 6 or 7 pm would be good?

also, my overthinking ass is also wary that the driver might do something bad to you too? considering it's midnight, in the middle of nowhere, and it's only you two.

i think it's better to book the cab a little earlier and stay at a nearby spot (if there's a motel? convenience store? of that sort) or just book it earlier like 7pm and just wait in the park and kill time.

yeah, sometimes I just walk to the park and sit there till sunset, it's normal and would be calming.

i haven't thought about this. either the driver would think i'm sketchy or might hurt me, which would also be bad. i'm a trans man but i'm definitely scrawny and weak. after posting this i started reading stories about ubers and got scared lol. i opened google maps to look at what was nearby but the park is pretty far away (walking-wise) from the plaza. i'd have to walk on the side of the road for 40 mins to get from mcdonalds to the park, which would be annoying.

i'll most likely book the uber at 7 pm and pack a book or something. an uber would definitely ask me questions if i booked it any later than 7 pm, since they would expect me to be home.

Maybe pretend like you're going to go to a picnic or camping? And maybe get dropped off a few mins away and walk the rest of the way there?
