Intrapersonal Intelligence or "self smarts" is the ability to understand oneself and utilize such knowledge in one's decision-making and planning. People high in this trait are typically well aware of their thoughts, feelings, weaknesses, strengths, and motivations. Moreover, they usually have rich and rewarding introspections and like to process their experiences in depth. They express their feelings creatively and put others at ease by being maturely self-aware. This type of intelligence is often demonstrated by psychologists, writers, theorists, philosophers, scientists, and spiritual leaders.

I'm a little surprised that it ranked me so high on the musical end. I enjoy engaging with music as a hobby- in terms of listening and exploring, categorizing, sorting, curating particular ambiances invoked by playlists, dissecting lyrics' meaning and figuring out what elements in particular appeal to my aesthetic tastes- but I can't read or write sheet music, and have only a middling ability to play: I taught myself how to drum passably for band performances by sheer memorization of broken down parts of the song set to the sound of words, (MO-TOR-CYCLE, BLUE-BERRY, TEA-TEA-TEA) but I still couldn't read the damn music or had any idea what the orchestrator was doing with his hands, like, ever. Music involves a lot of math, and that I'm wildly deficient in, (I have dyslexia but for numbers, basically) so my lack of skill there never came as a surprise.

And shockingly low on visual- I'm a hobbyist artist, who has been paid for private work before- but I'm also faceblind and have aphantasia, so I think that explains why. It's actually been a fantastic asset in my art- in that I never struggled with the ego killer of not being able to draw a gorgeous drawing I envisioned and dreamed of in my head but fell short of- I never saw the picture mentally to begin with. It does lead to me doing weird shit like painting thumbs backwards and an odd asymmetry in my portraits, though- most people in reference photos are quite lopsided, actually. It just looks weird if you're not used to it being painted that way.

Screenshot 20241222 232237 Naturalistic Intelligence or "nature smarts" is the ability to be in tune with the natural world and discern the patterns that govern its ecology. People high in this trait are interested in learning more about nature, exploring and saving the environment, and nurturing life. They are typically skilled at looking for relationships, differences, and patterns in nature. Nature-smart people enjoy hiking, camping, gardening, and other outdoor activities. This intelligence is demonstrated by farmers, biologists, foresters, geologists, breeders, horticulturists, and animal trainers.
Looks like I'm a shaman.
