• Hey Guest,

We wanted to share a quick update with the community.

Our public expense ledger is now live, allowing anyone to see how donations are used to support the ongoing operation of the site.

Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

Same reason people don't CTB regularly by stopping eating and drinking. It's uncomfortable, drawn out, and painful.

Drinking bleach would probably be quicker and easier than starving your body of hormones for god knows how long. Not recommending but you must be really, really desperate if that's how you want to go out.

I wonder if my dad didn't do this in the end. From what I know, he was diagnosed with type 1 in his early twenties. He was very good at sports and apparently did not accept that he was ill but as far as I can remember he was always injecting insulin. When I was 11, he would've been 40. He lost his job, our house and we had to go live with family. From then I recall a rapid decline in his health. He lost weight, lost his eyesight, lost feeling in his hands, and had trouble walking. He was a very difficult person to begin with, and I was always afraid of him. He was emotionally abusive towards my mom and threatened her with a firearm about a month before his death.

In hindsight, I guess it's quite possible that he would have considered giving up the injections. He passed at age 42, I think my mom said he went into a coma. Don't know if this story is helpful, just thought to share his decline. It could not have been easy for him, whatever he did or didn't do.

That's a very difficult story. His life sounds rough, and so does yours. Sorry for that tough childhood time.
