I am torn between doing partial and full, but I will need to find a good enough tree first. Will take some effort and time, but that's alright, doable.

The question is, how do you even tie the rope to the branch? What knot to use, depending on how thick or thin the branch is?

I read that if there's a stump without many little prickly branches, then you can use a slipknot to lasso it over the branch/stump

But what if the branch is thick? Snuggle hitch isn't really suitable for thick rails or branches, and other knots like monkeys fist or heaving knot, are pretty difficult to tie and I have no idea how to use/tie/throw them over the branch

Any easier knots or ways to tie a rope to the tree branch?

Much love and thank you ❤️❤️❤️
