Trouble Writing my CTB note

I'm a little lost, I'm currently finalizing my official plan but I don't know if I should write a note to my little brother. He's 10 years old and I don't know if it would offer closure to him to have it later in life or if it would only do more damage in the long run for him already dealing with me offing myself. any suggestions are greatly appreciated

That's really hard to say because nobody can look into the future and I don't know your brother. I mean, I have an opinion but I can't justify it with any arguments...
I would not leave a note. Why? Because I don't think that it'll make such a big difference.

I've read a small study once, about suicide notes and what impact they have to those receiving one. They found "no significant differences in mental health outcomes between those who received suicide notes and those who had not.".

I'm not sure if my contribution will be of any use. It took way too long to write that.

It helped a lot and that makes a lot of sense. I just don't want to leave people without closure but I don't think there's anything I could say that would even offer that anyway. If it changes virtually nothing then I don't think I'll even bother. Thank you for your insight though <3
