So today I've woken up with a stinking cold and went to the medicine box to get something for it. My wife's emptied it out so I had to wait till she got back to ask her where any of it was. Then she calls our friend who lives 2 streets away, they took all the paracetemol, ibuprofen etc. And my friend has it.
FFS how stupid do they think I am. I'm not od'ing on paracetemol, even if it did work that's a horrific death. Idiots!

Yeah, I can't find my fucking opioids. My mom thinks I'm gonna OD on oxy? That's hard to do! Won't let me drink either. Fair, because I'm a shitty drunk, but I literally sleep day and night and have to be forced to eat. It's not like I could actually do anything.

That sucks. I'd imagine all she's done is made it so you're in pain.

Yeah, it's annoying. Makes waiting at the bus stop more boring too. Glad you got your meds, especially if it's more than a cold.

I've done a covid test, so I know it's not that. It's just gone to my sinus' which is annoying and kinda painful.

I suppose they are hiding meds because they really care about you and are afraid to lose you. I understand why they do it. But of course I also understand how you feel, being treated as if you can't make your own decisions, especially that you have "no right to argue" sounds somewhat mean.
