Hello.

Basically I don't trust myself with any other method other than getting splatted by a train or decap, or via jumping (was considering sky diving).

I have no idea where to get a gun.

Questions -

1) How fast would a train have to hit me so it would be painless/quick death?

2) What height would I have to jump from to be sure of death? Also once you've hit the ground, is it possible you'll feel anything after if you jump from a very high height?

To skydive, long story short, this probably won't be possible. All student gear has a machine that deploys the parachute if you don't, it's not that easy.

And if I become a qualified SD?

Hi. A train could be a quick and painless death, but not for the driver, or the ppl around them, if they have ppl, that will be affected by their depression of seeing a life splattered in front of them. And any passengers that may break from the news.
If possible, please dont involve other ppl in yr passing. Someone has to find you, but at least they wouldn't've caused it.
Skydiving could put them out of business 'unsafe company, someone died'.
Sorry to be negative, I worry about innocent ppl.
Theres some amazing mountains/cliffs out there, beautiful views. Why not those?

I know but I know a place where there is a metro that goes quick quickly, and it's getting dark at night where I am from. I would do it at night so they'd probably not even realise it's happened.

Btw I'm also UK so if you're looking for a partner to vanish with DM me if u want.

I had a friend *train driver who let me stay in his spare room when I had nowhere. He'd had a ctb'er. His 1st year in, he'd been driving over 14 yrs when I met him, still broke from it, he didnt know, thought 'what was that' maybe an animal or bit of tree, only after his shift did he find out. He blamed himself cos he was driving the train. Not his fault, but he still broken.

I personally dont want to be found, or if I did, it would be in a hospital or somewhere so medically trained staff who are 'used to death' or morgue/funeral parlour maybe, would find me. Not some ordinary person finds me like a pizza or my head expanded n body covered in vom etc. The trauma they will suffer. and the ppl they will call before the meds get there will have to see me too, more trauma..

But thats me. We are all different. You gotta go the way u want :)

The idea of traumatising someone else is one of the last things I'd want, but things are set up on this messed up way that encourages it. They take away all the "nicest" methods and there's few options that aren't going to be horrible for someone. If you jump from a cliff, someone is still going to have to find you and even a relatively hardened person who's seen a dozen cliff suicides will probably struggle, let alone a person just walking their dog who's never seen a body before.

It would make too much sense just to let people go in a humane way that doesn't scar anyone else. The fact that they'd be so scared of that probably says a lot about the world they've created and how many people they think would rather not.

Yes theres going to be a tipping point someday where Gov will want less problematic ppl like us draining the funds, or w overpopulated prisons, hanging brought back for murder, then I'll take out a baddie for a good failsafe hanging :)
As for someone finding you, yes jumping cant be anything but pizza, but if I had2b found and didnt do it as said b4, I would do it in a tent, or room with big laminated note outside saying 'do not come in, call police etc' or something like that. Then its their choice whether to enter. Nobody is prepared to see a ctb'er, but at least it will be those with training and backup mental health ppl.

Yeah, I set up like that as best I could, but my stupid SI kicked in right before unconsciousness. With that method gone, no access to things like SN and not trusting that I'd do CO or IG right rather than ending up even more damaged, it's hard to think of a way that would even let me give people that last courtesy (aside from jumping off a ferry miles from shore).

Yeah CO if done with the right tent double skinned or small sealed room sounds 'good' if done right. Easy non questionable stuff to get too. With a ferry you gotta tie something heavy, painful yes, but quicker that than freezing and struggling for ages watching the ferry disappear then drowning, oof. Tho yr SI cant help and would lose ;)
I thought about that off the back of a ship, but I'd want to be nr unconscious b4 jumping with something heavy tied around me.
*Edit, tho jumping off somewhere high into water w a heavy weight attached would be a harder landing maybe cos faster drop, then yr weighted underwater too. If fall dont get u, water will. Double bubble!

I like the idea of CO; I just don't trust a tent enough and a room might leak and hurt someone else. Maybe I'll eventually meet someone here with a car and a desire to get out of this :/

It's a lot of training and $. You may as well just get nitrogen. It's a wonderful sport and the people are amazing. I don't suggest going out this way and traumatize the instructors, ruin a great community, and making a company look bad. Then there's the people who will find your body, who knows where you will land.

I just did a post not long ago on what you feel when you hit the ground. Studies of jumping survivors stated that they did not feel or recall hitting the ground. So, that's a plus.

I'm not tech savvy enough to link it. The jist of it was that no jumping survivors in that study remember hitting the ground. So, hitting the ground was not painful because there is no recollection of it happening. One reported it was like falling asleep while watching TV. You don't remember falling asleep. Your awake one minute and the next your asleep.
