Tourniquet, partial or night night

I am afraid of the head exploding sensation with these methods which unfortunately are the only ones in my reach as I am currently in a mental ward.

Any advice or thoughts would be appreciated,

It may be best to hold off until you're released. If you attempt and fail while you're in there,then you're looking at a longer stay.
