Venting today is my birthday

i am a 26 year old man. i'm tired of the sentiment that "my life is just getting starting." i have known nothing other than suffering and in exactly 2 weeks, i will ctb.

i spent last night with my ex fiance, he is the only person i have ever truly loved. he kissed me and it gives me great peace that he is the last person i will ever share an intimate moment with. there's something poetic in there about a forever bond, i just can't put it into words right now.

i will have the apartment alone tonight since my roommates are going to a party. it's tempting to move my attempt to tonight, but that's risky. there is a good reason i have chosen the day i have and i need to stick with it for the highest chances of success.

maybe it's a bit twisted, but buying the necktie for my attempt was a genuinely enjoyable moment. i'll try to catch the sunset too :)
