i'm sorry that i don't really have much to say. today has been absolutely dreadful so far though; i can't even muster up the courage to get out of bed. honestly, birthdays only serve as a reminder to show me just how much i've wasted my life. i'm not even in my 20s yet but i feel as if everything is already doomed for me. i don't know. i just want this day to end.

yeahh… i'm feeling kind of embarrassed about this post already due to it seeming like i'm fishing for birthday wishes on a suicide forum lol. i can assure you and anyone who's reading this that i'm not; i genuinely just loathe birthdays — it's probably the worst day in the entire year for me. i honestly thought this post was going to get 0 traction but i do appreciate you and everyone else for taking the time out of their day to write these replies. even if we don't know each other, it's still extremely valuable to me. i hope today treats you well :)

Not to worry. I dont believe the world can tell you how old you are. I believe we only had 1 birth day, and after that, we only have 1 death day, and that time is not what we think it is, and we definitely do not have it all figured out and ironed out in our calendars and planners. Everything is sacred. Every life and every day, and every single thing. There aren't really words to describe the truth of things. But you know it deep down inside that wasting time is not good, and that you need to "seize the day" because it passes too quickly.
