I'm going to use this forum just for researching methods.

I've been insulted, I've been told to kill myself by some individuals (who weren't even banned, wtf) and I can't express myself freely under the pretence "I derail threads" (which I don't - some others do - I just answer their remarks). The level of cognitive dissonance on this website reached its climax.

I don't know if that obnoxious rudeness is widespread in Anglo-Saxon countries, maybe that's the reason. I won't go there for sure.

I hope you'll all get better. I loved the time when we were an empathetic and open-minded community, even though it was only online.

Why not sometimes. The chat seems to be the only place where people aren't completely delusional.

Kinda sad to know that this happened in SS. I never heard of anyone receiving a bad treatment here, except for some trolls, racists and some people who always starts bad discussions.

Encouraging someone to kill themselves is completely against the rules, I hope those users receive punishment.

If you still come back to post, I hope you are treated kindly and respectfully.

I have not experienced this myself before. But I can understand it well.

There are always members who do unpleasant things.

Talk to the members who help you and do good and ignore the others.
In severe cases you can also report them to an admin.

Indeed... I feel sorry for new members because they don't know the time when sasu brought about a positive atmosphere, even if you talked about sensitive topics. Now it's all about "if I don't like what you say, then kill yourself." Before it was "we're interested in what you want to say, and we'll help you whoever you are."

The fact that @noaccount wasn't banned is the last straw for me.
